Began functioning in the year 2000, Anbagam Special Educational Trust (Regd.) has been offering vocational training to mentally challenged children and adults. The school was established with a vision to train the mentally challenged children and their parents or siblings so that such children could come to the normality. The Trust has expansion plans to accommodate old aged destitute as well.
We offer special education, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy and vocational therapies to such children. The school has designed the special learning programmes for these children and adults, which will be helpful for them at every step of life. Highly qualified and extensively experienced specialists design our special training programmes.
Objectives Rehabilitation Programmes
- To have early intervention of learning disabled children.
- To make mentally challenged children expert and maintain adoptive skill by engaging the appropriate experts in the field.
- To train them in how to interact socially.
- To teach reading, writing, counting numbers, read time, etc.
- To teach vocational activities.
- To prepare assessment and tool adaptive behavioral developmentally disabled.
- To make children happy by offering them radio, television and other entertainment services.
- To teach musical instruments such as piano, mouth organ, and what not!
Future Plans
- Have plans to establish and start Consultancy and Information Service through Internet and Website.
- To bring the familiar belonging to the special children to plan, discuss and decide the future prospective of such children.
- It also has planned to provide a home to old aged destitute.
- To provide emotional support to mentally challenged children’s parent at our Special Children Self-Help Group Organization. We aim to train their parents who have the disabilities such as Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, Aphasia Enssephalitis, Epilepsy Polio Mylites and Tounge-Tie.
- To mentally challenged children and adults in learning art, culture, handicraft and traditional activities.
- To help in rehabilitating and getting employment to the mentally challenged adults.
- Entrepreneurship Educational Training and Financial Assistance to make Toys, Chalk Pieces, Match Sticks, Greeting cards, Phenol, and many more.
- To purchase land, building or take on lease for running these activities in villages.
- The trust will provide educational help to mentally challenged, helpless people.
- The trust seeks publish books, newspapers, and magazine and conduct printing house.
